About
ObGynHospitalist.com was developed by Rob Olson, M.D. He remains actively involved as the site's moderator and administrator.
Rob is a full-time Ob hospitalist practicing in Spokane, Washington. After 28 years in a successful Ob/Gyn solo practice in Bellingham,WA, Rob was drawn to the hospitalist sub-specialty because it allowed him to focus on labor and delivery. He sees the impact of his choice in improved patient care and satisfaction.
Rob received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School and completed his residency at Los Angeles County Hospital/University of Southern California. He is board certified and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; a Charter member of the Society of Forensic Obstetrics and Gynecologists; and a member of the American Fertility Society.
Purpose
ObGynHospitalist.com promotes a cohesive approach to women's care and helps obstetric hospitalists, primary care physicians and hospitals network, share information and learn about hospital-based obstetrics.
Vision
To improve patient care through expanded access to current information and to the knowledge and experience of fellow practitioners.
Membership
Registered members to ObGynHospitalist.com have access to the discussion forum (listserv) and its archives. Membership is available to any ob/gyn practitioner or hospital manager who is interested in improving health care.
